Stone Cross, Papkutapuszta

The history of the region is told in a single image by the beautifully renovated building at the Papkutapuszta junction with a stone cross in front of it. Roadside crosses generally served as spiritual resting and orientation points for the field workers, and the former outbuilding used to belong to one of the estates here - they kept animals, tools and grain in it.
