Introduction

After visiting this place you will know the wildlife of Kis-Balaton inside out. Short films and colourful dioramas introduce you to the historical and ethnographic characteristics of the region, the fauna of the swamps and reed fields. Besides the treasures of nature, there is also an archaeological exhibition showing graves and a building from the Carolingian Age. Furthermore, you can visit four church ruins nearby, as well as the Millennium Monument by Hungarian architect Imre Makovecz.
